Vision

Manatee Middle School is composed of lifelong learners that are respectful, organized, accomplished and responsible. Through positive school culture and relevant and rigorous academics, students are prepared to thrive in high school and post-secondary opportunities.

A-Rated School

Florida’s Department of Education uses a universal  accountability model to evaluate all public schools and districts. This model is grounded in state law and applies the same standards across the state.


Advanced Curriculum
Earn high school credits in middle school
Algebra and Digital Information & Technology courses offered, as well as a variety of academic competitions, including Robotics Competition Team.


Leadership for All Students
Only Leader in Me Middle School in the District
The Leader in Me framework is inspired by the 7 Habits of Highly Effective People. This approach empowers students to grow as individuals and collaborate effectively with others—building leadership, responsibility, and a strong sense of community.


Fine Arts
Courses offered in Band, Orchestra, Chorus, and the Visual Arts.

Fall - Cross Country and Volleyball
Winter - Basketball and Soccer
Spring - Track & Field


After School Program
Clubs offered from 4:00pm - 5:30pm
Meal and transportation included. Empowerment Club offered for new students.


On-Site Health Clinic
Partnership with Healthcare Network of Southwest Florida.
